Naomi advises on all aspects of banking law for both lenders and borrowers. She works on drafting and negotiating facility letters, deeds of priority, subordination deeds and other banking documentation. Her work includes priority issues, taking of security, investigating title matters and preparing reports on title, compliance and regulatory issues and other general banking advice. Naomi specialises in lending in the public and community sector, property finance, restructuring and acquisition finance. She advised the business unit of a major clearing bank on compliance with the Business Banking Code including reviewing all marketing material, standard security documents, internal and customer- facing forms and associated processes; advised on FSA Regulations and the new regulated mortgage regime; and has reviewed security documentation for banking clients.
Recent transactions in which Naomi has been involved include advising on a £10million loan facility to a joint venture limited liability partnership in the leisure and tourism industry and a £90million loan facility for a University to fund its projects.
