other sectors: charities & trusts
The private client group has a specialist charities team with
a wide range of experience in dealing with all aspects of charity
law. Clients range from private family grant making trusts to
incorporated bodies engaged in a very wide sphere of activities,
including almshouses, religious bodies - the Anglican Diocese
of Birmingham is one of the larger ones - a patronage trust,
various arts related bodies, and animal welfare organisations,
as well as charities with worldwide activities and those attached
to educational and health bodies. In addition we administer a number of grant making charities
providing a full administrative and accounting service. We provide specialist advice on constitutional and registration
matters, as well as tax efficient structures and Gift Aid. Whatever the nature of a problem involving charity law or
practice we can help find a solution.
